Guest guest
I don't know what it is, but yes I get it too. Like the circulation is being cut off. My right leg has chronically been that way for many years, about the time the FM was dx'd. It seems to coincide with my lower back on that side and goes down the back of my right leg. My right toes feel kind of stiff [curly maybe? lol] and that leg is "weak." And evey single single every every night laying in bed or sitting in a chair, it is such a drag trying to get comfy. Constant battle. But.... I have been telling docs for years and they never once checked anything so... I always assumed it is from inflammation. ? xo li ----- Original Message ----- I had to delete, I had over 200 mails on my Yahoobox and no time to get through them all. Sorry!! I have a question: does anyone experience tinglingand a slight numb feeling with FMS? Last night I washaving this in my left leg (where I have also beenhaving a sciatica flare) and also around both ears andthe front of my neck...I'm wondering if the ears andneck thing were due to my bad TMJ?=====~~Leigh

Guest guest
I have wondered that. I mean I've heard of it but... Does it basically mean, that nerve is pinched? Thanks, :-) li ----- Original Message ----- li, it sounds like you might have sciatica. Whatyou describe is exactly what I have, except on theleft side. Guest guest
No, it means that there is damage somehow to the sciatic nerve, which runs from your hip down the back of your leg. There are all sorts of branches that run off of it, too. My leg gets sharp, pinching pains on the outer back side of my calf. Sometimes I can feel it going from my hip all the way down and then sometimes it just hurts in the spot on my calf. Sometimes it feels like a cramp, and others it feels electrical. It can come from a disk problem in your spine. I don't know why I have mine...I do have lower back pain at times. Do a Google search for " sciatica " and you'll find lots of info. ===== ~~Leigh __________________________________________________
