Hugs a Hi a, my name is Janet and I live in the South on the East Coast of the US, welcome to Chronic Pain, sorry for all our reasons for being here, but my physician suggested it over 2 years ago for me, when I could not afford therapy, to join groups. I joined about 5 groups, pertaining to all my medical conditions, and I must say It has helped a great deal, and knowing there are so many millions of others dealing with the same pain. Somehow makes it easier to make it through the day. I have osteoarthritis too, and border line for the DM type 2. I have been told once I was and then again I wasn't and then again I was, so I give up and just eat right, until I am told otherwise. I have been to Canada and it is beautiful, my daughter lives on the border in Michigan, and travels over pretty often. So, welcome a, you have a beautiful name by the way! Sometime if you ever feel like typing, you can email me and " the much more " , within or outside the group see if we share any other conditions in common. I have been studying some of Canada's healthcare plans, and find it very interesting. A friend in Ontario, has been emailing me about his treatments and how quickly he was taken care of, but his Province does not cover prescriptions. That would be a bad thing as expensive as they are, I would think? Look forward to hearing from you and sharing war-pain stories (I guess we can call them that?) Have a wonderful weekend.
