When I started the reduction of effexor I did not really know much

about withdrawal symptoms, until I started to feel them. Even then I

was minimalising- this is my usual tendency...Because it is my 33rd

day of reduction I have started to worry a lot that I will never get

well. I am actually more depressed, or maybe more tired...Have no

motivation...Generally feel disregulated...At the moment have

problems with my stomach...I read few articles and have started

panicking...The problem is more serious than I thought...

I have been on meds for more than 20 years! I have never had so huge

discontinuation problems like now, after deciding to reduce

Effexor...

I mentioned dizziness before...

But: are headaches the sign of witdrawal? Are joint pains as well?

I am so sad. Last couple of years I have had lots health problems:

hypertension (diastolic), anemia, stomach- reflux, joints problems,

etc. How many of them were induced by antidepressant??? Of course my

sexual life was none...Hopefuly my husband understands...

Will I ever get over withdrawal symptoms? What to do and what not to

do? I just read that Seroton is not really good...How about calcium,

magnesium vit. D? How about herbal remedies- valerian, mellissae,

hops?

Shall I start going to gym now, or wait for better time? Shall I

start using my bike more or wait?

Will I be able to work on an expected from me level, write

dissertation, essays etc.??? At the moment I am on sick leave for

few days...

I don't really want to meet people, started to isoloate. Is it

because intuitively I try to minimalise any stimulation?

I hate going on bus or train, my dizziness gets worse. Should I just

have the dizziness and stop worry?

I feel slightly like on the roller-coster...Disregulated...I either

sleep too much, or can't sleep...My body is full of pains (is it

arthritis or something else?)...I have lots of headaches, this week

I had twice migraine atack...I don't even know what I want to

eat...Mostly eat bread with honey...And have cravings for

chocolate...Eat some fruits as well...As I have problems with

stomach (GERD) I have to be careful with food...Surprisingly my

stomach problems started after being put on Effexor...

WILL IT GO AWAY? Should I just be more patient?
