Guest guest
Hi , Yes, we are absolutely willing to work together with you. Where ever you are at right now is okay. We will go from there. Part of the work will come from us and part will come from you. Jotting down what you eat when you eat it is something you are able to do now in your current condition. Do you think it would help to use a different notebook than your RR one? Your experience here will be different than at RR and it might help to start fresh. I'm going to leave the potato question for you to discuss with at some future point, since you feel it is helping right now. I well remember the days when I felt so awful that it seemed like my Mr. Goodbar chocolate and coke combo made me feel better. And I did go out in the car to get it. I would drive way out of my way to find a store that was open late at night. It was only after I got rid of it that I could tell how much it was actually hurting me. Now I am horrified that I ever ate that kind of stuff. It would kill me now. Let's postpone the discussion about the Radiant Recovery program and Kathleen D'Maison's take on brain chemistry for a much later time. You may find after you have been here for a bit and made some changes that you are feeling so much better that none of that matters anyway. For now, I will say that the term sugar addict is more meaningful to me personally than sugar sensitivity. Everyone on the planet is sugar sensitive because it is a dangerous, toxic, non-food. And everyone who has ever had poor nutrition or taken psychotropic drugs is extra sugar sensitive. Sugar hurts us. All of us. When I call myself a sugar addict it helps me to draw the line. I know I cannot safely eat any amount of sugar, no matter how small. Hope this helps, Yahoo! Messenger with Voice. Make PC-to-Phone Calls to the US (and 30+ countries) for 2¢/min or less.
