Guest guest
Hi , I wanted to let you know this past week #4 (28 days) with the previous 3%(3.125%)Geodon taper (5.75mg morning, 4mg afternoon, and 5.75 = total 15.5mg from 16mg)went better and I felt more stable. I had no real cardiovascular problems, I had very little irritability, and I was surprised that my feelings of mental and emotional fatigue were better too. I actually felt like going with my kids and the nanny to the park after school a couple of times this week. May sound like a small thing, but for me it was a big deal to actually feel enough energy to go out in the afternoon. Usually, afternoons are the most difficult for me. I wanted your input on the possibility of my making the 3% Geodon decrease this Monday, June 5. The cut works out to 5.5mg morning, 4mg afternoon, 5.5mg evening = 15mg total per day. My husband worked out the mathematical part of the 3%. I hope its right. I wanted to let you know, so that you could update my file with my other medications. I'm no longer taking the Detrol LA 4mg twice daily. My Gyn. reduced the Detrol LA to 2mg twice daily and I just take as needed the regular Detrol 2mg at bedtime if my bladder is particularly spasmodic and causing me great discomfort. This works well for me right now. You did mention that the Detrol and Prazosin work against my Geodon withdrawal. I failed to ask you during out consultation just exactly what this means and how it is doing this. Would you mind explaining this to me if you can? You also said you had other alternatives that could help my overactive bladder problems instead of the Detrol and Prazosin. Would you mind sharing what these other alternatives would be? I might consider giving these methods a try. Last question, I know you are swamped with questions, but I was curious if you had looked into the EZorb Calcium and whether their claims that you don't need magnesium and Vitamin D to help you absorb the calcium are legitimate? I've been on it for almost two months now. They say that by 3 months you should start sleeping better, have more energy and not suffer with the brain fog and achiness and soreness. So far, all I can notice is I am alittle more energetic, but also much to my disappointment it hasn't helped my sleep that much, if any, but maybe it wouldn't work for me anyway because I am coming of the Geodon and insomnia which is a side effect of coming of the Geodon anyway. Will my sleeping eventually improve overtime as I get off the Geodon and Klonopin? Maybe this question can't be answered, but I thought I'd ask just in case you might know. Thanks for your help and support. Hugs, V.
