Guest guest
My daughters are here for my weekend visit. They came Friday night, I was just about over my flu.... My oldest has been puking her guts out AND pooping her pants everytime she pukes since 7 am this morning. Poor kid, she was in the kitchen getting paper towels and a plastic bag. I said what are you doing up so early. She told me she puked and was going to clean it up. What kid cleans their own puke without telling their parent they are ill??! Had I not seen her and asked, she would not have told me. Unfortunately, she gets in trouble at her dad's when she is ill. She even stripped her own bed.. :-( She said then that she felt fine. Of course, by 7:30 when she had her first puking with diarrhea squirts <TMI..I know> she was not feeling fine. I called her dad to let him know, giving him the option of picking them up early to go to the hospital or he should call before he comes to get her because I doubt she is going to school tomorrow. He said, "Well have you about had it with her yet?" UH NO.. SHE IS SICK!!!! So, he said.."ok, she can stay there then, no difference she can be sick here or there." He hasn't called to check on her yet. I guess a mother's love and nurturing is just different. :-( <no offense to any dads onlist> I feel so bad for making her sick, but I hadn't seen them in 2 weeks and didn't want to give up our time. :-( Selfish I suppose. At least she is here where I can take care of her. I've changed and washed her bedding 3 times already today. I am tired out. < floating through poop and puke...ugh... I hope I am immune to getting it back, is that terrible to say? Praying that my youngest isn't next but I imagine she will be :-( > Alenna -------------------------------------------------- Site Moderator for: fibromyalgia_support_group Site Moderator and Co/Owner for: ncm_wisdom Emails: alenna@... and alennam@... / Aim id: brucenorton2000 "When one door of happiness closes, another opens; but often we look so long at the closed door that we do not see the one which has opened for us." Guest guest
Alenna. I doubt that you gave this to your daughter. Remember it takes a little time for the flu to incubate. It's going around so she most likely picked it up from someone at school. Poor child. Their so helpless when their sick. Hope she gets better soon. There's nothing like a mommy when your sick.
