Guest guest
Well, the burst my bubble. The surgeons came in today and want to keep me one more day. Oh, well - after I went past my target of Friday, it really just upset me. Just would be nice to sit on my couch in my boxers instead of having to cover up everytime someone comes in. Use my own bathroom and massaging shower. Sleep in my own bed. Man, you forget what simple pleasures are. They said my numbers went up a little bit so they are going to increase my steroids and have already upped my prograff to 4 mg. It is not registering on the blood work. First number is Sunday AM I assume H means that it is High Albumin is 2.3 (2.1 on sat and 2.2 on fri) ALT 345 H (326 on sat and 323 on fri) AST 93 H (90 on sat and 91 on fri) Alk Phos 206 H (211 on sat and 246 on fri) Bili total 2.6 H (1.7 on sat and 1.9 on fri) Bili dir 1.4 H (.9 on sat and 1 on fri) Maybe Tim or Aubrey can elaborate. They didn't hang around too long and I grabbed the spreadsheet about of the trash. There are some other numbers but tried to grab the ones I thought or remembered were important. Guest guest
Shirley I couldn't remember if you and Steve had kids or not? Going through your marriage trouble make having a group like this a good thing so you can vent some frustrations. I know with me not having things bottled up is always a big help in a stressful situation. Bill Shirley wrote: Hi all! I'm doing good. Went to dinner last night with friends. I'm not going to sit at home if I can help it. Today I will be home pulling weeds to get the house more presentable for when I put it on the market. But I will be doing something. I told Steve I was doing this and if he wants to come over and help he can. He won't! Sunday mom and I are going to the county fair to see a friends daughters dance team perform. It's only suppose to be 82 on Sunday so I should be ok. Mom can't push my w/c so I have to walk. I called SSA about Medicare Part B. The paperwork is coming in the mail. I just have to have Steve's boss sign that I currently have health insurance through them and then turn it back in. Thursday I have an appointment with fr aid. I thank Christy for this idea to call them. But Steve is giving me about $100 a month! I need more. He is paying all of Debbies rent, utilities and meds! So I'm not good with that while I sit here not being able to get meds or food. Fred is past due on shots and heartworm meds too. I told him I want to talk to him in person first, but I didn't tell him why. Then if he doesn't agree with more $ to me then I go to legal aid and talk to them. If they have to garnish his wages I will do it. He's bringing this all on himself so I don't feel bad about doing it. He is clearing out a lot of stuff from the garage! yeeehaaaa! I may be able to park in there again! Plus I will have a place to store stuff that I pack to make the house more presentable. My goal is to have the house on the market by the end of August. If it sells great, we won't make $ but better than foreclosure since he isn't paying the mortgages. I had to borrow $50 from mom and dad to get my Lyrica filled. He didn't get the $100 in the bank yesterday and I haven't had the Lyrica since Wed. I'm picking it up today. So that's it with me for now. Oh the intense stress program through the hospital sucked! I won't be going back. I'll keep doing my one on one therapy. Since I'm getting part B I'll be able to keep going. Y'all have a great weekend. x0x0x0 Shirley
Guest guest
Shirley, I hope things get on track quickly for you. You're sounding really chipper so that's good. Take care of yourself and keep listening to Pink Floyd, it makes makes you younger you know. Amy
Guest guest
I'm just updating. I finally get to see a fibromyalgia specialist in 11 days. What she will do I don't know. Seems like my fibro has gotten worse. I have lots of leg pain sometimes. In the mornings I'm so stiff from my hips down. I'm popping Tramadol, but I have to take 4 to help the pain. I'm hoping the specialist will give me something different. Im' hoping to get on Cymbalta. I'm currently taking paroxetine 40 milligrams. but I think that may not be very effective. I've been very moody lately. I get easily frustrated at little things. I still have my hip pain and neck pain daily. It seems like the more I do the more pain Im in. Just doing normal housework and taking care of the kids, I can keep the pain level down, but if I'm doing gardening or something excersive I'm in more pain. I'm dizzy whenever I stand up from any position and I'm not sure if it is the blood pressure medicine I'm on or the fibro. I just started working at a pre-school just 15 hours a week and all I do is monitor the kids and it seems like pain has gotten worse since the job started. That may just be my imagination. I'm doing good otherwise. My son and daughter are a joy to be around. My husband although he aggravates me daily (just playing around) he is great to be around. That's my update for now Deva
