Hi,

I am appealing with Cigna-Dallas they paid my claim at 100%

and are now saying they made a mistake and are requesting

cranial technologies to pay back $2000.00.

I need your help if Cigna-Dallas has paid your claim

at 100% through your external prosthetic appliance

portion of your insurance and you had a $1000.00

maximum deductible under this portion of

your insurance. I would like for you to share your claim

numbers with me if you have won an appeal.

my e-mail address is lauren_pipher@...

thank you,

Hi & welcome:

GRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!! I am sure Gail in Dallas as well will chime in here, but she's been fighting Cigna for at least a year now for coverage of her twins' DOCbands, she's now working w/an attorney. I'm so sorry, here you thought they were covering 100% and now this bologna. Good luck.

Oh Dustie, if you only knew how bad I wish I was on vacation right now!!!!

We're not leaving until next Wednesday, and in the meantime we've decided to

get our house ready to put on the market before we leave. So I've got 3

kids 3 and under, I'm packing for vacation, I'm " fixing " my house to sell,

and I'm throwing a bridal shower on Saturday and the 2 other people helping

me have totally flaked out and left me to do the whole thing. Can you say

AAAAARGH!!!

But I can always take time out to help someone with my nemesis...

,

I'm so sorry to hear about your troubles with Cigna. Like Debbie said, I've

been fighting them since March of last year and, after exhausting all of our

appeals, I'm currently working with an attorney who has Cigna scrambling

like there's a fox in their hen house. My situation is very different from

yours, but I know someone who had the exact same thing happen.

appealed and Cigna paid the full $3000, then they asked for a refund of

$2000, so she appealed again and won the full amount. I haven't heard from

her lately, but I'll send her a quick note and see if she can post a message

for you about how she did it. She lives just down the road from me here in

the Plano/ area. Where are you located? Are you going to the rodeo

with us? I look forward to chatting with you more.
