Que: You said you're buying a book this week at Borders. What book are you buying? Did you know you can borrow books (and tapes) from your local chapter of the National MS Society? I think all NMSS chapters have lending libraries. You can also borrow books from the Multiple Sclerosis Association of America. I have borrowed books recently from both groups. They will mail them to you with a postage paid mailer to return them in. Sharonqscholar wrote: Hi Que,....i'm Jackie from Oregon, and welcome to our family here. You have quite an interesting life. Sorry you have MS, but it doesn't sound like it has dampened your Spirit. All your questions, and fears are so normal and I've been where you are when I was new to all of this waaaaaaaaay back in the '80's. Hi Jackie, As you can see I am still up. I finally bit the bullet and took a benydryl 10 minutes ago so it's lights out just as soon as I feel the effects. I can't wait for the wellbutrin because it served as a good non-drowzy effect sleep aid. Thank you for the confirmation. I have the burning all the time but this was the first time that my toe

decided to attempt an escape from my foot. Thank you for explaining how it the Babinsky thing works. I plan to purchase a book at Borders on Friday. Right now my only info comes from websites and here. Yes this is weird. Back last Winter I kept having a rolling sensation down the side of my back. felt like something was just rolling back and forth constantly. I felt cheated, had it happened over my whole back then I would have had an instant massage. I am trying to keep my spirits up but I did melt down on yesterday. I am a bubbly happy person by nature and my personality usually come out in my words. Thank you for being so supportive and encouraging. Hello Sharon, and members.

Yes I read the information on lending books in our files here and on MS watch. I plan to utilize the service soon.

The one book that I plan to purchase is one that I would like to have in my personal library. This book is titled MS Q & A Everything you want to know about Multiple Sclerosis. I can't remember the author. I have a similar book in my personal library titled Lupus Q & A and it is an EXCELLENT book.

I utilized lending books through the lupus alliance a few years back and this is a very nice resource. I was able to read many books as not to waste money on the books out there that would not be of benefit. The one book that I read prior that I knew that I wanted to have to help educate others was the Lupus Q & A book. This time I am jumping the gun on the purchase before actually reading the MS version, but I will thumb through it before I buy and if it is the same or of a similar format it should be a must have.
