Guest guest
Marcus and , Hey you Aussie fellas, I stopped at the post office today and a 1 lb Pkg going Global Priority is $8-$9. I can get 2 shirts out in one package for that. So for every 2 shirts add $5. Guest guest
>Hey Mickey !! Well you've got me stumped .... Lets see, you say you can send two shirts in a package for $8 - $9 dollars. So I add $5 for 2 shirts ?? Shouldn't that be $ 5 per shirt ? Sorry if I am missing something here .. If you can let me know I'll approach my bank manager. Our Aussie Dollar just fell through a hole in the floor. We are worth about 61 cents to each of your dollars. A good reason to have VEGAS DOWN UNDER next year,, you guys would be zillionares here. Thanks, Marcus >Marcus and , >Hey you Aussie fellas, I stopped at the post office today and a 1 lb Pkg >going Global Priority is $8-$9. I can get 2 shirts out in one package for >that. Guest guest
Marcus, because I can send those by weight. I could charge you by shirt but I am not in this for money. I can put 2 shirts in one envelope and be within the weight limitation. So don't argue with me. Sweatshirts will need the extra $5 each. The price of the shirt already has some shipping chgs tacked on to the price. I have tried to price these things so I can break even in the long run. Guest guest
Does any of the other Americans feel sorry for these POOR Australian dudes? If everybody contributed $1 American money, they would not have to go on welfare to get a t-shirt! Does Australia even HAVE welfare? Just a thought, it would not cost US that much to send the shirts to them! Guest guest
Mike, I need BIGGER t-shirt $11 = $22 + $5 = $27 + EXCHANGE RATE--- $1 American = $1-40 Australian = $37-80 + $15 for American money order = $52-80. Damn, Mike your right I can't do math, but it wasn't my best subject. Come to think of it I don't think I had a best subject, I think a " C " was the best I could do. ~|))) ... Guest guest
Donna Wrote : Does Australia even HAVE welfare? Hey yes we do !! And for once I have to say it IS better than any other country.( if you are on the receiving end ) Its a touchy subject for a tax paying man like myself. But we have every pension and benefit imaginable... And if you imigrate to OZ in old age we will give you a pension and you can collect your pension from your homeland as well... Would the US do that for me ?? Shirt costs !! 2 shirts $20 + $5 postage = $25 Our exchange rate is 61c to your dollar so a short fall of 39c per dollar SO 39c x $25 = $9.75 So total is $25 + $ 9.75 = $34.75 total Not to bad I'll take two.. Have to find a pen and paper........ Paying enough tax to support a small town Down Under MARCUS > > >Does any of the other Americans feel sorry for these >POOR Australian dudes? Guest guest
Yes Pete it would be cheaper, but it would have to be the iron on type and I think they are quite expensive to set up in the first place. .. Guest guest
Hmm...I was thinking...Australia, being a big tourist place, wouldn't have a t-shirt market? How do they get the logo on the t-shirt? Maybe if you get the decal, yiou can get someone to put it on a shirt for you. You'd have to buy their shirt, of course. But, maybe if you explained your situation, they'd do it for you. anyway, just a question ) June
