Guest guest
Dear Kendra, It really helped me to weigh the length of time to safely taper against the benefit of being free and healthy for the rest of my life. I was 43 when I started. It took me a year. Now I am 44 and I have a long time ahead of me to enjoy being free. The length of time to taper is totally individual. I had to take a couple of breaks and stay at a dose for a month. Some people need much longer than a year. The time doesn't matter. What is important is listening to your body. It is great that you are making progess in how you think about your symptoms and the challenges of withdrawal and recovery. I found many joys along the way. I became able to feel again, to experience love and wonder at the world around me. I got tremendous calming and grounding out of all the daily chores I do to take care of my cats. I grew to love cooking and taking care of myself. And I even learned to enjoy being up at all hours of night. Talk is cheap. Use Yahoo! Messenger to make PC-to-Phone calls. Great rates starting at 1¢/min.
