Guest guest
Dale or Ken, I just started my extra lecithin today. I took 2 tbls in my fresh juice. Should I take more of this stuff a day since I have GB problems? Also, how long did either of y'all notice you were benefiting from it? I don't know if y'all saw my post on the 16th. I passed different stones this time from all my other cleanses. I think this was my 8th cleanse. Anyway, all the other times I've been passing yellow-tannish stones with tons of the sand/sludge stuff. Just a few light green colored ones. Well, this time I didn't pass as many, but I did pass larger stones. Most all were dark green with kind of blue-green running through some of them. The largest was maybe 3/4 inch; however, my husband says closer to an inch. I also had a bunch of white stuff, strange looking stuff. Now, do y'all think that I'm getting closer to the older stones? I sure was sore after that. Today I'm not quite as sore. I've been taking it easy. thanks, Susie
Guest guest
I just read in Dr. 's newsletter where he recommended Soy Lecithin for a number of things, but the one that got my attention was that it ups female sexual desire after menopause. The point is that we are individuals with unique needs. No doubt, from what I read, girls entering puberty should stay away from soy. I have been taking Lecithin regularly since the early 70's because I read at that time that it helped with mental alertness. Best I can tell, it has been a failure at that one :0) Bottom line is that, with the wealth of good advice that I have gotten from Dr. over the years, you can be pretty certain that he will not steer you wrong. He is always on the cutting edge. wrote: > We've been taking Lecithin (from Soy), for many years now, as one of > our many daily supplements. Guest guest
- I thought there were only two sources for supplemental lecithin: soy and egg yolk. I read recently egg yolk lecithin is very good for people with chronic fatigue. I don't like the only supplement source of egg yolk lecithin I found, Nature's Plus. It contains Di-calcium phosphate which exacerbated fluid loss for me. (not good since I have low levels of anti-diuretic hormone and battle dehydration daily) If anyone knows of another source of egg yolk lecithin I would be interested. Jim - I have noticed a slow increase of long term memory recall benefits from taking soy lecithin. However, I have not yet noticed an increase in sexual desire. I take 3 tablespoons throughout the day and have only been taking it for two weeks. _,_._,___
Guest guest
There is a big difference between the soy that has been getting the bad press and lecithin. Guest guest
Other than the obvious fact that lecithin can be extracted from soy and soy is a bean, what is the big difference? What am I missing? hjooste@... wrote: > There is a big difference between the soy that has been getting the > bad press and lecithin. > > > Re: Question about Lecithin > > > I just read in Dr. 's newsletter where he recommended Soy > Lecithin for a number of things, but the one that got my attention was > that it ups female sexual desire after menopause. Guest guest
Hi Nanette! Thanks for the info about Nature's Plus, that's the brand I found on the shelf. I've seen sunflower lecithin online at places like crystallinesolutions.com. It seems to be pretty expensive, but if it was recommended I'd probably buy some. I've also seen some lecithin made from rapeseed. If I come across a better brand of egg yolk, I'll post. Jean
