Henry,

I would just the chose the one with the least side effects and more

strength to fight the pain. Try keeping a pain diary to see how the

pain is going when you take these. I believe that you doctor would

have more of an input in this decision. I do not take methadone so I

cannot speak to that drug.

I have taken Fentanyl before and it was only for short periods, the

Actiq lollipop. It was very sedating and I couldn't function well so

that I believe the side effects from Fentanyl were not what I was

wanting.

I hope that helps you a little to make your decision. I would also go

to the website of the med to make sure there are no interactions.
