Guest guest
Poor little guy...The band should not cause any tears...I know my son work up two nights in a row crying when he first got the band..I had to let him cry it out the second night...Hopefully, you will get some sleep tonight. He is just crying. Not sure what to do. Do I let him cry it out? That is my inclination. Then of course there is my 23 month old in the next room. Ugh. What a nightmare. Guest guest
, I am so sorry to hear this. :-( Have you checked him for any red marks? Check his whole head, front, back and sides. Maybe he has a red mark that your not seeing b/c it's covered by his hair? I really hope it's him and not the band. Please keep us posted. I'll have my fingers crossed for you. --- In Plagiocephaly , " B. " <wbilling@t...> wrote: > Well----he made it for 40 minutes. I checked and the band is sitting correctly. He is just crying. Guest guest
... I know how frustrating this can be. When Josh was trying to adjust to his helmet I shed some tears with him =( One thing I did find out was that I was trying to change his sleeping position after he got the helmet. I tried making him sleep on his back when he was used to his side. Once I put him on his side the crying stopped. Is this only happening at sleep times? Can you totally wear him out so that he doesn't care. I would take Josh swimming (even in a Kiddie pool) and let him splash around until he was exhausted. It might be worth a try. Just to let you know, I took his helmet off the first night after 30 minutes of crying because I couldn't take it anymore. Don't feel bad...you have to do what you feel is right. One night without isn't going to hurt, and then try to work him into it slowly =) Hope this helps...don't get discouraged!
