" ------------------------------------ Those are some great websites with a lot of information from the research that has been done! I have heard by several people that eating a regular amount of protein can help ease pain some. I used to be a vegetarian, but when I heard that eating meat had helped others that I know, I decided to try it since adding meat back into my diet doesn't require any more than picking up some meat while grocery shopping. I did notice some easement in my pain. Not a whole lot, but then again I still do not eat a whole lot of meat. When I was a vegetarian, I would eat egg whites, yogurt, cheese, cottage cheese, nuts, seeds, beans, etc. for protein. Those were added on top of the minimal amount of protein found in other foods such as vegetables, olives, and avacados for example. I am slowly working my way up to eating protein at least three times a day. I am supposed to be eating small amounts of protein with my meals five or six times per day to regulate my blood sugar and blood pressure. But, since I have been in horrible pain for a long while now, I haven't been eating too much. I simply cannot eat when I am in pain, stressed, or depressed. My stomach feels as though it is tied into a knot and eating not only upsets my stomach, but causes the food to come right back up. Also, those cause me to not be hungry on top of the sickness parts. Yet, I have gained weight lol. Love, Becky
