Hi Donna,

It was great to meet you, Xavier and Jaxon as well. You're boys are

just precious! Max did amazingly well during the casting As you

could probably tell, I was extremely nervous about it! With him

being older I just didn't know how hard it would be for him. He

really showed me!!! We had pictures taken and were able to compare

with the first set taken back in March...Max is really showing

improvement! I started to cry when Margie showed the pics to me...it

was such a feeling of relief to see the progress and know we're doing

the right thing for him.

Sounds like the " photo shoot " went really well. Lucky you to have a

tour of CT!! It sounds like that was really neat Glad it was a

good experience for you! Keep us posted on Xavier's progress.

Yay Kathleen I am so glad the casting went well - I know how nervous

you were! And I am so glad to hear about his correction thus far - I

cant wait to see pictures )

Your boys are going to look adorable for Halloween Max is going to

be a bumble bee! Glad to hear Xavier (and you) are doing well with

the second band. As for the staring, I try so hard to ignore it.

Last time I was at Target I ran into a woman who said her son had the

DOCband nine years ago. We chatted a bit and she was extremely

nice. For as many people who stare there are just as many kind

people. It is hard though...truth is, even with Max being banded as

long as he has I still struggle with it. I would love to get the

kids together sometime to play! Maybe when it starts to cool off

(will it ever happen?!) we could meet at one of the parks somewhere

between our houses. I think that would be fun

Glad all is well with Xavier...he is well on his way! Doesn't it

feel great?!

Hi Donna!

Max's CT appt. is next Friday. We are going in every three weeks now

instead of two. I'm glad to hear Xavier has been doing so well

You're right, the weather right now is just perfect. Maybe when you

get settled from your move we could get together with the boys at one

of the parks to play. Max and I would love to see you guys again.

Speaking of the move, I hope it goes smoothly for you this weekend.

Hi Donna,

Glad to hear you are enjoying Xavier band free! I'm jealous! At our

last visit with Margie she said about another 4-6 weeks. Max's

growth has been really slow since he is almost 19 months so we are

just hanging in there! Thanks for asking about us...a band free

Valentine's Day would be an AMAZING gift! Give the boys big hugs

Hi Donna,

I hope the boys are feeling better soon! It's so hard when they are

not feeling well. Thanks for asking about Max. He is graduating

from his band on Valentine's Day! I couldn think of a better

gift!!! We are going in on the 16th for final pictures and

measurements. Eleven months is a LONG time...it's been so worth it

though!
