That's what they'll be saying about the " NF2 Pill " once it gets out. Well

that and maybe not enough statistical data to back it up. =)

FRS and GK may not be so dangerous but you have to admit there is a element

of risk.

I've been waiting for that 'pill' too long and I doubt it will be around in

4 or 5 years. If I knew it would be here in 4 or 5 years I would indeed

wait. I must have dreamt about it many times in the past. Perhaps some day

it will be for real but I'm not counting on seeing that day.

Yep, there is that element of risk , but we do take risk's everyday

just to live, it's just that we don't think about them. So I suppose that

when a new one (risk) comes along to complicate our NF2 life (decisions FSR,

G/K M/S) I just add it to the list, and do what I think is right at that

time. OK I would be P/off if they came up with that Magic pill the day after

I had, had treatment but you just have to take it and move on.

Hi ,

What you say is very true. There are risks to everything and especially when

you are doing things in a hurry. I found NF2 really slowed down my life so

why rush?? It could be driving around town or doing some work around the

house. I tend to take my time and make sure what I am doing is safe but we

can never eliminate the risks altogether.

I would like to see that magic pill even if I couldn't use it. I had my

first surgery in 1979 and it would have been nice to have it back then.

It would have been nice to have the internet back then too! We had no

one who could relate to our experiences, huh?

Sherry,

I'd prefer the pill so we wouldn't have to relate these, umm, err,

experiences. I mean you guys are great but...
