Guest guest
I sure thought you were gone already. lol Sorry I mis-spoke. Y'all have fun on vacation when you go. lol Hey, I know I don't know your friend, but if you need any help with the shower, just give me a shout. Kind of late notice, but hey, better late than never. Is Mr. Attorney doing you some good? Thanks for chiming in here and helping a fellow Cigna madwoman out. Guest guest
Lynn, What a relief that your sister's cyst is benign! This is sad about her having to lose her uterus and ovaries, but I am so glad that there was nothing life threatening. Wow, endometriosis!! Was she suffering with menstrual problems before this? My mom had endometriosis as well before they removed the lining of her uterus. Katy:)Lynn <spinkscl@...> wrote: Thank you Traci. They said it was endometriosis - this is what I have too. I have had 3 surgeries. She is staying in the hospital for 3 days. She was on painkillers when I went to visit, so she was feeling good. I hope you are getting better daily. Love, Lynn Re: Gail Hi Lynn,Very happy to hear Gail made it through the surgery. Now it's time for her to heal and move on.Losing your uterus at 33 is not the end of the world. I lost mine to uterine cancer at the age of 29. Thatwas 10 years ago and I didn't have any children. My20 year old Godson lives with us so I don't feel thepain of being childless. Guest guest
Hi Lynn, I know endometriosis is tough to deal with. The way I've been able to deal with everything is to look forward. It's okay to look back once in a while but look back on it as experience with a bit of nostaglia thrown in. I never regret anything. If I do something I don't like, I simply don't do it again. There is such a big world out there and such adventure to be had. I love God and I love people and animals. I have to really watch my stress levels so this is what I focus on. I take it one day at a time and that's okay. Love & hugs, Traci --- Lynn <spinkscl@...> wrote: > Thank you Traci. They said it was endometriosis - > this is what I have too. Guest guest
Lynda, Very sorry to hear about her upcoming surgeries. Our sisters are often our best friends, they know everything about us and love us anyway. I'll continue to pray for her returned health. Guest guest
Katy, I have endometriosis too, and have had horribly, painful cycles. Gail never had the pain though? She said it hurt to got number 2 when she was having her period but that was about it. The did find endometriosis on her bowels, bladder and all over her female parts. I am so surprised she didn't have more pain. Does your mom feel better? I am sure I will have to have another surgery in a few years - seems like every 3. Guest guest
Lynn, I hope you will not have to have any more surgeries for your endometriosis! How exactly do they get a diagnosis? Is it through laproscopy? My mom has been fine for years now, after they removed her lining and forced her through menopause with hormone injections. She is actually going through menopause again naturally now eventhough she hasn't had her period for years.
