Unless I know I'm going into town (30 miles, 45 minutes), I don't put makeup on. Going to town is a big deal to me because of the effort involved and driving the mountain roads especially if we have had snow (and we have). I usually do something with my hair if only to put it into a ponytail so I'm not THAT unpresentable if someone comes to the door. But like I said before, we live in the boonies and no one comes to see us without calling first. It's weird meeting other flybabies on an FM group. I had never heard of the flylady until the week before Thanksgiving. Donna N Colorado
Guest guest
Check out www.flylady.net It's a web site where the flylady (fly stands for "finally loving yourself") helps those of us who were not BO (born organized) and live in CHAOS (can't have anyone over syndrome) get our lives in order and keep our house clean. I'm a flybaby and taking minibabysteps to do this. It's fun and amusing and some of the testimonials that people write to her are VERY moving, about the way her site and the philosophy of flylady have literally changed their lives. Actually, I was BO but became OW (overwhelmed--my term lol! ) when I got sick. Donna N Colorado RE: Flylady???? Ok.. While it is wonderful to share our experiences with everyone on the list as to what treatments do and don't work for us, pls always check with your dr. Some treatments are dangerous when given along with other meds as well as to certain health conditions or just dangerous in general.2. If you are in a difficult situation (doesn't matter what it is) pls don't be afraid to ask for help. It is the first step to trying to make that situation better.Have a nice day everyone.
