Guest guest
I have a question. I am doing really, really well on the diet thing - I am feeling even in my moods. I do have the occasional slip, but when I do I start right back. Something I ate yesterday has triggered a bout of diverticulitis. Sometimes bulky foods do this to me, and I've been lucky that I've not had more of it lately. I'm wondering if the asparagus I ate might be the culprit. I like my veggies barely cooked, and it was pretty crispy. Anyway, when I have this kind of pain in my lower belly, the diverticulitis stuff, I have to eat bland foods until it heals, and then I go back to my regular diet of veggies and stuff. What do you recommend that I eat? I've not had this since I've been eating healthy. I had a baked red potato and some tuna fish for dinner, and some unsweetened applesauce. What other bland foods could I eat that aren't too starchy or sweet? Thanks, Pat

She said first off that you should be taking Primal Defnese from Garden of Life. This will help clear up the diverticulitis and ward off further attacks. Regarding bland food, she said to do a Google search and you'll find tons of suggestions. Don't worry so much about sticking with our dietary protocol right now. You ahve to deal with this diverticulits issue before you can proceed. keep us posted. Regards, Kim moderator Something I ate yesterday has triggered a bout of diverticulitis.
