Guest guest
Dear You said: << I dont know wether the ativan worked or not it gave me a soft insomnia right just after i was starting sleep again sort of i vaugely have some memorie and music in my head mostly i think the problems were food sleep and warmth sleeping with heating pad helped alot >> ** Something definitely helped. You're communicating much clearer than you ever have here. I'm having a hard time seeing Ativan as causing insomnia. This may be just a coincidence or it could be that feeling a little better caused you to be more alert. An alertness is certainly showing here now. What do you think you should do? Are you comfortable taking another 0.25 mg dose of Ativan today -- perhaps earler than you did yesterday? Take care, Chris. Regards,

Guest guest
Dear You said: << CAn i do a consult if that would work > a half hour?? ** I think at this time a consult wouldn't make sense. There is so little you can do until we get you more stable. After you are more stable, this would be the time to do a consultation. As far as supplements go, because of what you've been through and your natural leaning, you will be sensitive to supplements. I would liketo see you go slowly with supplements and do only a couple right now. Do you have magnesium? If so, what kind (oxide, citrate, taurate, etc)? I will recommend a dose when I knmow what type you have. Also, fish oil -- do you have it? If you do, you could begin by taking 1,000 mg. Then, please let me know how that feels. You said: << communicating clearyl for me is bad i alwaysh had pendantic referrential mode of speaking>> ** You were communicating very clearly in writing after you took the Ativan. Then it deteriorated as the Ativan was wearing off. You also reported that you couldn't hold a fork as it was wearing off. You mentioned in another post that you didn't think Ativan was the answer. I agree. But there is no GOOD answer here at this juncture (there will be better answers as you progress) so what we are seeking here is the least harmful, most helpful alternative that will help to take your brain and body out of some of the withdrawal it is in so your system can begin to calm down a little. There is nothing I can do to help while your system is in complete chaos. My other concern is that if we don't get you more stable, your family will be hauling you off to another hospital. So, what we do is take some small steps, monitoring it every step of the way, and try to keep you off the edge. After a while, we can add other supplements and begin reducing the Ativan very slowly. I know it is difficult to have it interfering with sleep but as I said, there are really very few options. I'm contrasting the Ativan and its drawbacks with hospitalization and other drugs. In my eyes, the Ativan wins. Again, though, you're the boss here. It's your body and mind. But I will plead my case one step further. This is something you've experienced over the past several months. You're flying blind here, so to speak. I've had literally hundreds of people in your type of situation in the past 20 years. While most haven't had the added issue you told me about, a few have. This is a lot of valuable experience. I believe I can help you. It's going to be a long slow road, but it can be done, undoubtedly much better than what will be done if others perceive you as unstable.
