Went to the specialist on movement disorders and she said I

have " psychogenic " tremors. She says this is what they call it when

it doesn't meet the specifications of regular tremors. She wants me

to see a neuropsychiatrist to evaluate my cognitive and she is

starting me on klonazepam for the tremors. She said my other neuro

would follow my " probable MS " symptoms. Funny thing is, he never

would come out and say it was probable MS. She was ok and she said

if I needed her for anything I could go back. So let's see here, I

have a rheumatologist, a reg neuro, a special neuro, a urologist, my

primary, and the want me to see a neuropsychiatrist and start back

on PT after the meds have stopped the tremors.

What is soo funny is she said the tremors are probably coming from

physical stress not mental. that when I'm tired or stressed it's

sorta it's way of getting me to slow down. Slow down! I work full

time as a nurse, Mom to two kids, we're in the middle of baseball,

and I'm driving three hours one way for aLL THESE DR APPTS AND

TESTS.AAAHHHHH!

lol. Got to laugh about it.

Just wanted to let ya'll know how it went. When my husband asked me,

I told him I was just crazy, " It's all in my head " (get it?ms is all

in the head and neck and spine!LOL)

'

Go MAVS

PS missing my kids. my ex in-laws took them to Branson, MO for 10

days. The house sure seems empty when I'm not yelling for them to

quit fighting.

': Good news that it's "all in your head". LOL When I had just been diagnosed I kept thinking it wasn't really true that I had MS. I would think to myself 'maybe I don't really have MS after all.... maybe it's all in my head". The truth is that it IS all in my head and I have the MRI to prove it.
