Hi - I have had my knee replaced twice. Yes, same knee. My best advice is get up

and walk as soon as you can. And do you exercises. Do them a lot. The more you

move your knee after the replacment, the better off you will end up.

I can't comment on how long I was in hospital as I was starting from a crushed

knee, not just a regular knee replacement.

Have lots of pillows handy so you can keep your knee elevated once you have had

the surgery. And get some good books or DVD movies to keep your mind occupied.

VGL I hope your knee surgery goes well and you heal well.

replacement. I am curious though, has anyone here had this surgery? If so, how

long were you hospitalized? How long were you in rehab? How long before you

could walk and drive again? Mind you, this is my right knee. The left knee is

now showing the same symptoms as the right, but not as bad so I am trying to

avoid having anything done to that for now.
