Sounds me me like MS., but then...who am I? Just another person with MS that knows what it's like. And then again, MS mimics so many other diseases that I can't be sure. I know you are anxious to find the answers to your health issues, and I know how frustrating that can be. My prayers are with you....Val -- RE: 's doc visit / Rare Disease (was: AMERICAN IDOL) I have a tremor in my right arm or head when I'm doing nything that makes me concentrate on my balance or coordination or when I am tired. It may start as a slight movement but the more I push myself it really starts rocking. If I try to force my arm not to tap then my torso when have the shakes, sort of like shivering. I know about the tingles too. there were times I would swear my beeper went of on vibrate and then i would realize it wasn't even there. The radiologist read the report. What I tried to tell the doc this is my forth "episode" and with the 1st three never had a lesion. Now my bladder requires in and out caths, can't walk a straight line to save my life, look like Joe Cocker on speed, and I have 1 lesion. When are they going to make a decision. I think it goes to the fact that dr's like cookie cutter diagnosis and if you don't "fit" they don't know what to do. They don't follow their guts, their too scientific. Thanks for asking, maybe this other doc will know more. ' Sharon Marsden wrote: Hi ' I do have a tremoring/vibrating feeling. It's mostly in my arms, neck, chest and abdomen. I don't know if what I experience is the same feeling you have though. Where do you feel the tremors? It's good that your family understands your need to stay cool. You said you have one lesion. Did the doctor actually look at your MRI films or did it rely on the radiologist's written report? Based on my own experiences, I feel it's always better for the doc to actually view the films. Home many attacks or exacerbation have you had? One? or more? I was originally diagnosed with Transverse Myelitis. TM is a rare disease. Even though it's rare, there are a few others on this group who had that as their initial diagnosis also. We're all waiting to hear what this new doctor says for you. Hang in there. Sharon Pierce wrote: Well, like i said before, have too many other symptoms. Called the other dr on Friday and they questioned why 1 neuro was referring to another. Said they needed my medical records before they could make the appt. The dr's nurse is faxing them the info. Hope to know more next week. Had to go with my mother and SIL today to my grandparents home to seperate out things(mama been gone 2 yrs and papa 6mo) hadn't spent much time with them in the last two months when all this has been happening and they started telling me things the had observed while we were together today like the slurring of words, staggering and lack of coordination and one of the things thats most frustrating is trying to say a word and it's on the tip of my tongue and I can't remember it for the life of me. And of course the tremors. The hoouse was really hot and stuffy and they went around and turned on the air and had me sit down until it cooled off. I know some of ya'll have the bladder and concentration problems but do any of you have tremors? ' Go Mavs!Smyelin groovy wrote: I think it's a little "early" to dismiss MS. I never really understood why there has to be more than one lesion, though. I mean, I "get it", but I don't. It's okay if that doesn't make sense. It doesn't to me either. LOL When are you going to the specialist? Challis Pierce wrote: Hey guys! I went to the Dr. yesterday and he said he doesn't know what to do with me. Wants me to go to see a neurologist that specializes in tremor disorders. the wierd thing is that I have several symptoms and 1 lesion but since it's only 1 lesion he completely dismisses ms. thinks i may have some rarer disease. i think he's nuts. What do you think? LOL ' in TexasJackie Hanan wrote: Hi… yes it was a really great finale`! I thought EVERYONE sounded good, and wondered why they sounded so much better? Even Kat, when she sang with “Meatloaf”, she was awesome!! Too bad she didn’t pick that song to sing her final night. I don’t know if any of the contestants can have personal relationships with one another? I think it would be hard not to be attracted to each other. Maybe they have to sign something? I don’t think seems to be Kat’s type, but what do I know?? lol…. ;-) Everyone okay in your family? My dau and SIL went camping at the Oregon coast for the holiday. Steve and I will stay home with Max, and watch movies, and enjoy being alone together. He’s going up to the cemetery with his mother tomorrow, but I don’t like to go. Besides it is so cold, and stormy out, I will curl up with a good movie! Lol…. I don't know what she meant by that--whether it was work or personal. She seemed fine with the outcome, didn't she? What a great show that was! Lots of surprises and great entertainment I thought.
