Guest guest
We love them! They are really easy to take care of. We had our 2 males(standard color) from when they were about a month old(we took care of their mother too while they were weaning) And they love to be held. Our females(A Beige and a violet) we got at about 3 months and they are less hand tamed than we would like. That happens sometimes when they are highbreds(which their colors are) We just put them together and are hoping for babies the first of August. Our boys will sit at the edge of the cage and " barks " for attention until someone agrees to hold them. in MI n... Guest guest
How big of a cage do they need? Indoors or outdoors? I would love to have one, they were just too cute! Those ears! Guest guest
Oh shoot, - the group doesn't accept pics - can you send it to me personally? It is thetxhartclan@... We had a ferret when I was pregnant with my oldest dd, but he didn't like to stay in the cage, mostly ran around the house. He had his smelly gland (or whatever you call it) removed, so he didn't stink. I'll have to look into a chinchilla, my MIL used to manage a pet store and she said they are lots of fun, too. Guest guest
Oh my, they are too cute! The bottom picture, what color is that one called? I notice he is a little lighter gray than the one in the cage, at least that's how it looks in the picture. Where do you buy one? Pet shop? How expensive? Sorry to ask you so many questions, they are just so cute and I want one so much! Hart Baby Bean due 30 June 2002 n... Guest guest
The ones in the pictures are considered " standard " color. One is a little lighter than the other. We got our boys from my sister-in-law for free. The girls we bought from a breeder (many, many miles away) for $125 and $175. One color is more rare than the other. in MI n... Guest guest
How neat, and not that expensive either. I'll have to keep that in mind, maybe after Bean gets to be a little older. I know the kids would love it since we tried having a kitty and my son's and husband's allergies wouldn't allow us to keep her. We had a fish, actually we had many fish, but the only one that lived we have had for years and he just died last week. The kids were crushed. I am just not a dog person, so a dog is out of the question. My oldest daughter had a bunny last year, but that little sucker was too smart! she figured out how to open the cage, and would get out every day! I walked in her room one day and there is the rabbit sitting in the doorway to the cage, just looking at me! thanks, , for all of the info you have given me! Hart Baby Bean due 30 June 2002 n... Guest guest
I am with ya the suspence of the Date is killing me. I think we should hold the Dr hostage till we get a date. All in Favor say I lol My date OK, now I am absolutely going to scream, so prepare yourselves! I STILL have no c-section date. Yep, you heard it right. I just got back from the OB. Let's see - I lost 3 pounds, measuring right on schedule though. When I asked about scheduling a date today, she said what she would have to do is have her nurse, Debra, call me this afternoon with the date, but that it would be about 2 weeks from today. I talked with Debra before I left to make sure she knew that she is supposed to call me this afternoon, so she does know, and you KNOW I will be waiting on that call! Will let you all know when I know.... Hart Baby Bean due 30 June 2002 http://www.geocities.com/thehartclantx/Thehartclantx.html
