Guest guest
Hi wendy, I can tell it's too tight just by looking at it. His band shouldn't be hard to put on. Yes, it does feel awkward in the beginning putting the band on and off. It feels awkward until you get use to doing it. This ortho probably does have 19 years experience but with HAND AND FEET ORTHOTICS AND PROSTHETICS. Just because he says he's done 40 bands doesn't mean it's the truth. We have had member whose ortho lies about their experience. Can he prove to you that he's really done 40 bands? Does he have references? Does he have any before and after pics of babies he's banded in the past? If he did even 5 bands he'd KNOW that 's band doesn't fit right!! I think all the ammo you need is a picture of a baby in a STARband that fits right!! You can find that in the photos section. I am so sorry that is going through this. PLEASE keep that band off of him until it is corrected. You SHOULD be able to get the band on the headsickle without a problem! --- In Plagiocephaly , " B. I need to have some ammunition on Monday because the orthotist with 19 years of exp. and 40 helmets under his belt thinks this is fine. My son hates it and I don't think I can put it on his again. Of interest, he gave me the headsickle as a little " gift " yesterday and for the life of me, I cannot even get the helmet on that thing.
