Guest guest
, There is lots of posts and I can't keep up. There is one possibility why your helmet will not fit on the headsicle. Different varities of helmets have extra foam added to catch the bump in the back of the head. It is the occipital protruberance(sp??) Also , depending on how the cast is made it may be longer than your child's due to the fact when the mould was complete the neck area was not done. Some orthotists have different casting methods. I am not saying this is the case, I remember trying to put Ben's band on his headsicle and could not due to the extra foam........some helmets even have a bar of foam that catches the nape of the neck to prevent tilting and rotation.
