Guest guest
Hi , Just wanted to give you a progress report on the things you told me to do. It will be a week tomorrow. I've increased the vegetables A LOT, reduced the red meat. Added chicken thighs, reduced the whole grains. I'm eating meat, eggs, oats, and rice only once per day each. Here are few of the meals I've had this week: 1 chicken thigh, green beans, cauliflower, asparagus 1/4 lb sirloin steak, asparagus, cabbage, green pepper, scallions, and also some cucumbers 3 poached eggs, spinach, roasted zucchini, red pepper, onion, tons of garlic 1 chicken thigh, green beans, brown rice Curried cabbage, onions and kidney beans, plus cauliflower, along with cucumbers in yogurt. Breakfast is still rather acid: a shake w/ one cup kefir, one cup water, 1/2 cup dry oats, 1 frozen banana, and brown rice protein powder. I have worked and worked at breakfast. Giving up soy almost killed me. Then I tried to eat solid food. Finally I settled on the above shake. I've slowly begun to drink the lemon water. Slowly b/c I've been afraid of it but it seems okay. No burning. Drinking the raw honey in warm (not hot) lemon water. Can't drink honey alone b/c I hate it. I also put some cayenne in with it. Tastes pretty good. Put honey on the candida or fungal skin infection (under my breast) for several nights in a row. Didn't seem to help. Then tried insense for a few days since I don't have any Valor. Didn't seem to help. I've also tried Tea Tree, didn't help. I have even put coloidal minerals on it for a few days, didn't help. Today I smeared crushed garlic on it. That burned which might be a good thing. At least the infection knew it was there. I will try that again. The doctor wants me to get Nystatin which I don't want to pay for or use, unless you tell me to. I only went to him to get a dx on the infection. The creepy feeling that candida is running around inside me is getting better. I feel better overall. Energy better. Feel so much lighter. I feel so much better reducing both the meat and the grains. I knew about alkalinity from studying Young Living but wasn't ready to try it until you brought it up. THANKS! I got an 80/20 alkalinity chart. Going to incorporate it more and more. Going to try millet and quinoa again. Maybe this time I will like them. I have to say I think the teaspoon of psyllium is making a remarkable difference in my life along with all the water. Regular for the first time since the 1980's. ****One new thing***** Suddenly yesterday the stomach enzymes which have 200 mg HCL plus the usual enzymes, started burning at breakfast. It burned horribly at lunch. This is the Digestactiv Formula by Source Naturals. It burned exactly like the Therazyme HCL did when I first started taking it in August. So I took that as a sign to stop taking it. Could it be I don't need it anymore? Should I get an enzyme formula w/out HCL? *****Oh, one other thing. During the past month, beans, which I always loved, have turned on me. The worst gas of my entire life. Starts about 4 pm the next day and goes for about 3 hours. Now I have 12 cans of organic beans on the shelf I can't eat. Unless you have any ideas? I miss the beans! Sorry this is so long, just wanted you to know what happened after I got your suggestions, Thanks so much! Hugs, Yahoo! Mail Use Photomail to share photos without annoying attachments. If it is a yeast infection nothing will touch it if you're still eating rice. > > > Here are few of the meals I've had this week: > > 1 chicken thigh, green beans, cauliflower, asparagus > > 1/4 lb sirloin steak, asparagus, cabbage, green pepper, scallions, and also some cucumbers > > 3 poached eggs, spinach, roasted zucchini, red pepper, onion, tons of garlic > > 1 chicken thigh, green beans, brown rice > > Curried cabbage, onions and kidney beans, plus cauliflower, along with cucumbers in yogurt. > > > Breakfast is still rather acid: a shake w/ one cup kefir, one cup water, 1/2 cup dry oats, 1 frozen banana, and brown rice protein powder. > > I have worked and worked at breakfast. It seems yours is. << *****Oh, one other thing. During the past month, beans, which I always loved, have turned on me. The worst gas of my entire life. If they were not, you could soak them for 12-18 hours changing the water 3x. This eliminates the problem you're experiencing. -- Regards, " Life is not an exact science, it is an art.
