When I was in college my second year of business, I would take it at 11:00 and go to sleep. I was doing on-line classes mostly, because of having kids. I'd wake up and get ready to do my homework and have a email from the teacher already with a grade on it! I was getting back up and doing assignments! But the Ambien me, was making straight " A's " ! So I had to thank my " sleeping self " for doing my homework! But that really was a plus (laughing). My doctor said that cooking after taking this medication was the second worse thing than driving as a side effect or problem with this medication. But thank goodness for the generic and a smaller mg. dose. You are right with the generic. That is what my husband takes. With our insurance the generic is $10.00 and the ambien CR is $25.00, so ever little bit of savings helps. Have a great New Year's everyone. Happy Holidays!
