Guest guest
Hi , Unfortunately, BPD can be very difficult for therapists to treat (hence all the 'in and out of therapy' instead of staying with it). Many high-functioning people who have this disease have found ways of hiding their craziness to the outside world, including therapists. For instance, my mother used to lie to her therapist, which is not helpful. Also, unless someone wants help from therapy, it is unlikely that s/he will get any. Sorry to not have better news, but this is the case. What might be more helpful would be for you to find a therapist with whom you can talk about these issues. It's not possible to change the BPD in our lives, but it is possible to modify our own behavior. is --------------------------------- Be a better friend, newshound, and know-it-all with Yahoo!
