Guest guest
Hi, I was just wondering if someone could suggest a rough time frame I can be looking at? When you can see the light at the end of the tunnel, so to speak, it's easier to do the journey. I started Effexor last September, switched directly to Celexa, and was on 20mg for about 4 months. I dropped to 10mg and within 2 days got withdrawal symptoms. After a week I stopped the Celexa altogether. That was 6 weeks ago. I have read that some people count their recovery from one of these drugs in months rather than weeks. I've also read some scare stories about people who have sued the pharmaceuticals because they were permanently damaged by the drugs, or were never able to come off them. (I wonder if many of them would have been helped by finding their way here.) I still have a host of symptoms. They are milder than they were and are probably mixed with the original depression, which is still present. But it's highly likely that they'll clear in time, yes? I've cleaned my diet up as much as I can, no grains or sugar; I want to do everything I can to get well. Thanks, .
