Welcome, ! I think there are alot of us here that have

remarried and want a child with our new husbands. But in my case I

am still with the same man. Married him twice. Isn't that one a

shocker. I had my tubes tied after the birth of our 4th in June 00

due to the pressuring of family to have it done. I had nothing but

problems since that time. I had TR done in Nov 01, and became pg 3

months later and miscarried at 10 weeks. Of course I just tested

last night and got a +++! SO I am waiting to see if this one is

going to be a keeper this time.

Are you going to have your reversal soon? Good luck and welocme to

this wonderful group of ladies. Baby wishes, Tracie

Hi, my name's Sandi. I am hoping to have dr. levin do my tr sometime

in august of this year. I am 40 and dr levin and his staff didn't

make me feel old and like there was no hope. I am hoping to find a

buddy to help defer the cost. I will have to fly from Mesa, AZ for

the tr so every little bit helps.

I was married 17 years when my x went through midlife crisis got a

girlfriend and was gone. Since my divorce, I've met a wonderful man

who has never been married and has no children. We will be getting

married this October and I would like to have the opportunity to have

children with him. He is great with my two daughters 15 & 12.

This site is pretty awesome, I've gotten a lot of info from it so

far. I look forward to talking with you all more.

Hello everyone,

My name is Debra. I am new to the group. I am not certain if I accurately

registered. I'm just introducing myself. I've read some interesting

stories. When I come home from work I see over 400 emails with hardly enough

time to read them all. Anyway, a little about myself. In 1992, I was

sterilized with the cauterization method. Now, married in January 2002,

hubby has no children, however, my sons are ages 19 (in college) 16 (11th

grade) and 11 (6th grade). I really did not want anymore children. I have

been considering this reversal. Although I am very nervous, and uncertain of

how successful this will be. I am not ready for such disappointment after

such a procedure costing over $5000. It is wonderful to know others out here

feel the same and are able to share comfort, hope, and patience. Hope to

hear from all of you and I will pray for each and everyone to receive their

healthy blessings.

If you find a buddy to have surgery the same day as you do, the price is $500

cheaper. There are rules that have to be followed... there is a buddy info on

the yahoogroups under files.

in MI :)

Re: New to group

Please elaborate, I am new to the group. What does having a buddy to offset

price mean?

New one, Debra

Hi Debra and welcome. This is a great group of ladies

who answer all your questions and lend support when

needed. You are defintly not alone in wanting more

children and regretting your TL. I had a tl done

during my divorce and ended up remarried to a man with

no children so we both want this. I have a daughter 13

and a son 11. So I am planning on a tr asap! Good

luck to you!! Luv,

dear All, The following is a letter I posted several hours ago for the group, but I never saw that it posted. So, at the risk of sending a duplicate, I am resending it because it is important information I need to tell. Dear , Just wanted to update you on what i am taking since i journaled it. yesterday, i took 115 mg combination vicodin/percocet in a 24 hour period. and i was extremely uncomfortable all day. It just barely made it bearable. I had to take it every hour or so. I am a lot worse off than i thought. I had just gone thru this big jar of Norcos like they were candy...and that was when i finally knew i had to do something about my habit. i am sure that 115 mg is way more than a 10% cut from what i was taking. dont know how much of a cut...but i sure am having a tough time. i am sticking to my guns though

and was just wondering if since i am in such a drastic cut now, if that means i will have to be at this level a little longer than i had hoped? More than 3 days i would assume. Anyway, i am trying to hang in there. This is hell for sure. Warmly, Janna

disability on these health problems.Had to fight for that 3 long years.

Try Rozerem to help you sleep at night. It's non-habit forming and works and

try Mirapex or Requip for the RLS. I have heard good things about them.

Right now I am on Xanax for it, but it has side effects that aren't good and it

is addictive, not to mention that it is hard to get off of.
