Guest guest
I am really confused. I have really been reading a lot and trying to learn as much as possible. I know there are 4 type of MS. Even after reading the definitions of them over 500 time each I still don't understand them. If you have RRMS and you are in remission, can you still exibit the little symptoms like vertigo and the tingling? Or does this mean you are still in exacerbation? Or does this mean you have PPMS? I guess I need simpler definitions of the four types or something because I just don't get it. And yes I am a blonde!!!!!!! Guest guest
Hey Tammy, I was sooo confused by this, because I thought 'remission' mean no symptoms. But with RRMS it means you would have an exacerbation and those symptoms (after some time) would either completely go away or mainly go away. Some symptoms never go away or are brought on by things like heat. But you won't have ALL the symptoms you had when you had an exacerbation. Hope this helps symptoms/exacerbation I am really confused. I have really been reading a lot and trying to learn as much as possible. I know there are 4 type of MS. Guest guest
Tammy- I have had MS for over 20 years. I still do not know the difference between them all. All I know is, I have RRMS. And although I have remission periods, I still have some of the symptoms that don't ever completely go away. They are alot less pronounced though. Don't worry hon, blonde doesn't mean stupid. If it makes you feel any better, I'm a natural red-head, turned blonde by age. Blessed be... http://mscopgirl.blogspot.com http://360.yahoo.com/vallee45 -- symptoms/exacerbation I am really confused. Guest guest
Hi, I think some symptoms go away gradually, but other may stop instantly. I know that there are days that I have no symptoms, but there are others that I have the same old symptoms. It usually happens when I over do it. An excerabation would be a new attack, in order for it to be a new attack, it would have to be separated by time, and you would have new symptoms or a worsening of symptoms you've had before. I'm not sure about meds, I'm on Rebif, but nothing to deal with symptoms. I do know there are meds to take care of symptoms, it dosn't hurt to ask the doctor.
