Guest guest
Dear List Members, To clarify, there are some people who are not insulin- resistant/carb sensitive. For these people, ocassional use of 100% whole wheat bread probably will not be a problem. The majority of people here do not fall into this category. Some of you may be able to tolerate Ezekiel Sprouted Grain Bread. Anyone with any intestinal problems (colitis, Crohn's, chronic diarrhea, IBS, celiac disease, etc) should not be eating any carbs at all except for vegetables Product Information: Ezekiel 4:9™ Sprouted Grain Bread Ingredients: *Organic Sprouted Wheat, *Organic Sprouted Barley, *Organic Sprouted Millet, Malted Barley, *Organic Sprouted Lentils, *Organic Sprouted Soybeans, *Organic Spelt, Filtered Water, Fresh Yeast, Sea Salt. *Organically grown and processed in accordance with the California organic foods act of 1990. Ingredients Organic Sprouted Wheat, Organic Sprouted Barley, Organic Sprouted Millet, Malted Barley, Organic Sprouted Lentils, Organic Sprouted Soybeans, Organic Sprouted Spelt, Filtered Water, Fresh Yeast, Sea Salt. Size: 24 oz. (1 1/2 lbs.) 680 g http://www.food-for-life.com/faq.asp Honestly, my recommendation for people with any intestinal problems or sugar problems is this: No grains (i.e. rice, wheat, corn, oats, etc.), no processed foods, no starchy vegetables (i.e. potatoes, yams, etc.), no canned vegetables of any kind, no legumes (a few are okay after everything is under control), no flour, no sugar, no sweeteners other than a little bit of honey or saccharin, and no milk products except for homemade yogurt fermented for 24 hours (milk=lactose=sugar). Most fresh fruits in small amounts are fine. It's restrictive but necessary for the health of anyone with intestinal issues or insulin-resistant cells. Intestinal problems become immune system issues (yes , I'm talking to you. This is the root of your gastrointestinal problems).
