So my therapist has asked me to start attending Al-Anon. She says that

my family [or at least my reaction to them] is similar to struggling

with alcoholics. Most especially my mother, grandmother and brother.

I'm going to a meeting on Monday at a local university.

Hummmm, anyone have any experience with Al-Anon meetings? Anyone have

any thoughts on this? I

feel a little akward going when I haven't actually got an alcoholic

family member... well and also discussing my family's problems with a

group of strangers...
