Hi , Yep, Cook County is in Chicago. It's been alot of changes lately. His nurse quit to a better paying job. I really loved her and then the neuro just really surprised me with this news. (Too much change!!!) He trained at Rush University, specifically for MS. So when he said he was leaving to go somewhere else I thought it would be Rush. I've been trying to avoid going near Chicago for Rick's doctor and his insurance well, my ex-husband covers that for now. But I don't know for how long, something I need to find out. I thinking 2 more years. I'm a small town girl and live in a village that

is less than 1000 people. Shabbona. If I were to go to a larger town I may go to Rockford before Chicago. But if push comes to shove maybe I would go to Chicago or the suburbs. I just hate driving in traffic. He/Rick presently doctors in Dixon. Something else I noticed, , is your internet provider is the same as my parents. Do you live in or around the Dixon area? Hey Dawn,

I know where Shabbona is. Yep, I live in Rock Falls( 20 minutes from Dixon) My husband works in Dixon. I found a Neuro that I love, he spends plenty of time talking to you and his nurses are great! He was willing to get me into clinical trials (with no Placebos) that would be free. But, it didn't start until July and I wanted to start therapy now. I have had symptoms for 3 years- frustrated by other Neuros because they were unwilling to treat me.

Oh, anyways, his name is Dr. Wynn and he works for Consultants in Neurology in Northbrook. It's not bad to get there at all. The traffic isn't near as bad as Chicago. We take I88 to I 294 (o'Hare Exit) Dr. Wynn is in alot of MS conferences, I see his name in MS magazines all the time. He knows his stuff! He see over 900 patients! I tried to avoid Chicago too, so I went to a doctor in Moline and one in Wisconsin and didn't get anywhere. Dr. Wynn is great.

If you see him, you can just call, you don't need a referral.

It's cool that we live so close! Rt. 30 is right by out house
