Guest guest
Dear List Members, I looked all night for posts to be approved and there wasn't one. Weird... I soon found out why. I checked posts at about 1:45 AM and there were 22 waiting, lol. There must have been a problem with Yahoo. Welcome to all the new people. You'll have to give me a chance to catch up with all of you Friday. Just one note -- a very important one. This is for the person who just stopped taking Paxil cold turkey. You can't do that. You will cause a lot of harm to your brain. It's not about being tough enough to get through it, it's about allowing your brain the time to adjust to not having the drug. This is done by making small decreases of 5-10% at a time. You need to go back on the Paxil, wait until you feel stable again, then do a 10% decrease. Please do this. I can't emphasize enough how important it is not to just try to tough it out. You'll pay for it the rest of your life. Ok, one more. About the benzodiazepine in the water -- what you're doing is allowing yourself to do smaller decreases by dissolving it in water (or tea or club soda if it doesn't dissolve well in cold water) and by drinking 9 oz. of the 10 oz of liquid, you've eliminated 10% of the drug. Got it? It doesn't matter how long you've been at a certain dose, you still can't drop a drug like this by 33%. , since it's a front tooth, you'll need it fixed. What are your choices for doing this? Congrats to all who have made the decision to rid themselves of these toxic, brain-damaging, spirit-numbing drugs. We're here to help. Please take some time to look in our files. We'll be looking at your recovery in aholistic way -- body, mind, emotions, and spirit. There are some helpful articles in the files for you. ! Wow! You've done a lot of healing tonight with that post. I can see it. I'm very impressed! :-) Okay, everyone, see you all tomorrow (actually, later today).
