Guest guest Posted December 13, 1999 Report Share Posted December 13, 1999 Hi June, Wouldnt that be wonderful in the New Year, to come up with a cure for NF.Then those darm eye goo companies would go belly up.Heck we NF " rs support them companies.The least they could do is let us sit in on the board and have some say.I certainly would have something to say.LOWER the prices!!!I am lucky my insurance pays for it at the tune of 25 dollars a week.I dont understand why neccesities have to be so darn expensive and stuff that is NOT needed be so cheap...OH WELL we need a woman in the white house that will fix everything up. Well, I don't know about that. On another note, is your eye medicine a prescription drug or over the counter? My insurance won't cover my eye medicines because they're over the counter (even if a Dr. writes a prescription for it:o(). Yes, this is me screaming! So, I'm stuck with a pretty hefty outlay for the Celluvisc (every waking hour) and the Refresh PM (at bedtime). Curious about the situations of others regarding eye medicines. Guest guest Posted December 6, 2004 Report Share Posted December 6, 2004 Hi, all. I'm able to sit at the computer and type. I had one percocet left last night. I took it at about 10, because i had rationed them and still only had one left. When I take them, I usually take 2. So, needless to say, I was in pain all night and had the restless leg/body thing. It's like 1,000,000 electrical shocks (tiny ones) going through my muscles. I didn't get any sleep. I couldn't lay there. And this morning was hell. My mom finally got my prescription for me and when she pulled up, I was never so glad to see her. I took 3!! I just needed to feel really good. On the ninth I get my oxycontin filled. I love those because It's time released, I dont' get those electrical currents in the middle of the night and I wake up feeling pretty good. Oh, and i've quit smoking, yesterday, as a matter of fact. I have to admit I did smoke some butts this morning!! haha. But that's it. And I don't know why but Im not craving them. I usually enjoy my cigarettes when I'm out of pain so we'll see how Im doing then! Thanks for letting me babble on.
