Guest guest
You are not the only one with too high insurance premiums . Here where I work my premium PER MONTH to have my kids on my insurance is almost $200. That's just the kids portion of the premium. The premium for me is $355.96 per month. So the total premium PER MONTH for me and the kids to have health insurance is $555.96. Luckily, the company pays my part and I just have to pay the kids part but it is hard enough just to pay that. And that's just health insurance, it doesn't include the premium for our dental insurance. N. > You're insurance sounds like mine. And it SUCKS!!!! You can't afford the family insurance, but you can't afford not to be insured.

Guest guest
Our company used to pay $100 a month towards the premium of any of us that had a spouse or dependents on the insurance. But they stopped that last year, they said it wasn't fair to the people who just had themselves on the insurance. So now if you have your spouse or your dependents on the insurance you are 100% responsible for their premium. N. > My boss does a similiar thing for us (he had to fight tooth and nail to be allowed to do it though). Those one single get all the premiums paid and those on family get half the premiums paid.
