Hey Bill! We have a West Highland White Terrier. She isn't one of those "snippy, barky" terriers. This breed is very smart, protective and territorial, but wonderful house dogs. Sometimes, you will see mixes in the pound. There is also a Westie rescue group that is looking for people to adopt them. Here are some photos of my dog, JoJo. She is now 6yrs old. Some of these are when she was younger. Can't say enough great things about this breed. Still terriers, but not your run of the mill dog.
