Guest guest
, They gave me a pamphlet about DVR, both when I was referred, and when I got all the information about my appointment. According to it, DVR is supposed to help you find and retain employment after you have completed their program, after they feel you have completed the rehabilitation program to their satisfaction. According to what I read, they are supposed to follow up with assisting with job placement and retention, working with both you and the employer. I'm assuming that means they intend to help you find employment with someone who is disability friendly. Otherwise, what would be the purpose. I think you should talk with your DVR person, and voice your concerns. The Ohio DVR pamphlet I recieved said that they would help with physical and mental rehabilitation if it was necessary to prepare you to go back out into the job market. And I think severe sleep issues that affect your ability to function would qualify, as it impairs your ability to function at your highest level. If you don't talk to them, they can't know what is going on with you, right? Please don't get discouraged sweetie, there are people who can help you!
