Traveling after the surgery? question

Hi everyone,

I am going to have to make reservations at the Inn, and book a

flight, but before I do, I need to figure outwhat I need to do.

One question is , the day after the surgery, did anyone fly home,and

how bad was it? Was it too bad? I was thinkingof just flying home

the next evening, because I know I will not be able to sleep well the

night of the surgery, and if stay one more night, I probably won't

sleep well. So the sooner I get home, the sooner I can rest and get

home, the sooner I can heal.

so do you think it will be awful to fly the next evening?

And after surgery, how long until you can shower? That's kindof a

silly one, but I am just wondering if I stay two nights, if I will be

able to shower so I won't be too scary on the plane!

I flew home the day after my surgery(1:00) and it wasn't too bad. Not the best

experience in the world(thank goodness for pain meds). Just make sure you take

it slow and give yourself plenty of time and WALK SLOW!! I felt better

recovering at home too.
