use of the word benign

I was first dx'd with Begnin Hypermobility Syndrome. That doc even said

to me at one point 'begnin means you shouldn't have any problems with it'.

This attitude was what made me push for another dx and eventually got me to

a Geneticist. That doc didn't consider it to be EDS but the regular

hypermobility syndrome (which is now being questioned if they are linked).

So if this word was used in front of EDS it definitely was being taken

out of context by at least one doc! :-)
