Guest guest
I am experiencing several symptoms since I had the ALIF (anterior fusion) done this past August. I'm not really sure if this is all related, but it seems like these things have occurred since the surgery. I am constantly cold. To the point that I have to take a hot shower at times to warm up. My hands, feet and my nose are cold to the touch. My skin is extremely dry; I slather on baby oil and even Vaseline after a shower and an hour later you can't even tell. My hair is also thinning, and I have never shed like this before. My joints ache and I am utterly exhausted. I take 500 mg of Naprosen 2x/day, a multi vitamin, calcium, Omega3 supplement. I am off the pain meds, since my pain mgt Dr. closed his practice in December. (That is a topic for another post!) I also take Zoloft, Singulair, Topomax (all long standing Rx's) and Ambien at night. I'm just wondering if something else is going on, or maybe it is just the time of year? I do have a Dr appt on the 10th with my primary care manager. If anyone has any thoughts, suggestions, I'd appreciate it. Thanks, Kris in VA
