Hi Janet - I LOVE Kadian! I haven't tried Avinza, but the Morphine is a HUGE step up from Oxycontin (at an equivalent treatment dose) because it gives such continuous relief, instead of those rollercoasters as the Oxycontin wore off before the eight hours were up. BTW, go to the Kadian website - www.kadian.com - they have an offer where they'll pay up to $50 each month for a year toward your Kadian prescription. If you have insurance with a reasonable copay, that will probably mean your Kadian is free! All you do is fill out the form, they send you a card, and you hand that card to your pharmacist with your refill every month. There's no rebates or any paperwork to send in - the pharmacist just takes it off your bill. Super Cool! Cheryl in AZ Moderator
