Guest guest
Hi, I'm Chuck Warman, age 62, a CPA in North Texas. I have fairly severe chronic knee pain due to osteoarthritis, and I'm looking for alternatives to knee replacement surgery. Glucosamine / chondroitin, OTC analgesics, or meloxicam haven't helped much, and I want to avoid habit-forming painkillers. I feel a little self-conscious about posting here, because I feel certain that many of you are suffering much more than I am. But my knee problems have been getting more severe rapidly; and I'm not far from needing a cane to walk. This has all developed over the past 9 months. I hope some of you can advise me, and maybe I can return the favor later.
