Guest guest
I was wondering if anyone knows if E Stim is still a reimbursable code. I heard that as of March 1 Medicare will no longer be paying for estim. Also, are there new codes for this service. Any information on this would be greatly appreciated. Guest guest
Yes! Estim is still reimburseable. As of March 1, Medicare issued new codes to be used. New codes only, but still paid for. G0281 - estim for chronic wounds, Stage 3 & 4 G0282 - estim for chronic wounds, Stage 1 & 2 (This has a $0 value) G0283 - estim for all other reasons. Estim for wound care has criteria that have to be met. This is found in AB-02-161. Continue to use 97014 for all Estim with other payers.
