Guest guest
Yes June, thats where the Tasmanian Devil comes from ! I've been to Tasmania a few times and we saw dozens of the little critters. They were easy to approach too, cause they were ALL squashed on the road. They are real angry little beggars and they like to 'take on' the log trucks. Not hard to guess who comes out second best !! Getting close to nature ( while its still fresh ) Marcus, Oh Damn its hot Down Here ..... ' Re: NON NF >From: ManelyCat@... > >Hey Marcus, > >Tasmania is where the Tasmanian Devil is from! Guest guest
Be thankful, Marcus! It varies between 20 degrees and minus 30 to 50 here (winds) . BRRRRRRRR Freezing, but having a good time. Oh, hey Marcus, what does it cost to live in Australia? SMILE ) June
Guest guest
Ha ha, Lois, I'm going to get your snow later today. It's on the way! I think it's leaving you soon! We don't have much here, yet. As I look out my window, I see spots. Most areas are bare. It's so unreal because I remember when I was a child (I lived here then too) that I would walk in the snow and disappear. It was so high (3 feet+ in the unshoveled areas). Things sure have changed! I think it's from the " shifting " . I notice that other areas of the country are changing too. I live in Portland, Maine. I can see the ocean from my apartment building. It's neat! ) But the temperature is affected by the ocean and it's less than some (like my Dad who's nice and toasty inland) and more than others (like the mountain areas). But I don't like the snow!!!! SPRING, where are you??????? June

We usto make angles in the snow but think maybe we've out grown hat cause come to think of it we have not done that lately... hee hee ( Wishing you were here to go with ) " ) but I really do not like the cold we get a lot of that but usually when it snows like this the temp stays up there in the we have about 23 here today...
