Pain and loneliness

Hello all,

I have only posted on here one time. I suffer from FMS and chronic

back pain from two spinal fractures of T12, along with arthritis in

my back and knees.

Last time I posted I described myself as a closet pain sufferer. Well after

reading all your posts I found a doctor willing to take me on.

She seems sincerely interested so now I am going through x-rays, MRI, EMG, and

blood work. She specializes in internal medicine, so I figure that is a start.

She prescribed flexeril and voltaren for a start. The flexeril helps

me sleep awhile, but so far not enough. The voltaren is for

arthritis, so I do not expect an overnight miracle on that one. So

far no pain meds. But we have a way to go on all the testing she has

ordered.

My fibro is really flared up right now. My husband decided to start

the new year out without me, he packed his bags and left two days

after christmas. I am having the usual crying jags, sleeplessness,

and depression that goes along with this.

I did not see it coming whatsoever, I loved him with all my heart and he always

said he did me. But who can see into the human heart.

I know that many of you on this sight have gone through this and the pain and

loneliness that goes with it. My heart goes out to you all as it is indeed a

very hard thing when someone leaves just because they want to.

May we all have a blessed and even Pain Free Year.

Tina
