Guest guest
We found out that someone has been opening accounts using Steve's SSN. We've owned 2 BMW's and didn't get to enjoy them. Below is a link to where you can get a FREE credit report once a year. I HIGHLY recommend you do this every year. I know we will be. Guest guest
Shirley, I will hope you placed fraud alerts on your credit reports, right? If not, call Experian at and pick option 2, option 2 and then option 3. I give out this information daily at my job. eMail Me Check out my page Donate to the 2006 MS Walk Walk for cause -- check your credit reports!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Does not work, , unless you have been denied a job, credit report, credit, etc. within the last 60 days-- never mind that every time a fraud alert is placed on your credit report, neither you nor anyone else can get information about your credit--the reason being that the creditor (ME) allegedly does not want any information given out. One has to prove denial of credit in order to get a free credit report. Not easy to do that! Cheers! n Rojas, and this applies to the two other credit data collection agencies as well, not just Experion! check your credit reports!!!!!!!! Guest guest
Anyone can place an alert on their file for any reason at any time. When you place a fraud alert on your credit report you also give a phone number in which to contact you to verify it is okay to give credit. I tell most of my customers to make sure and give a cell phone number that they have on them. It is true about having to be denied credit in order to get a free report, but some states also have state laws that provide you a free report, but, yes, thankfully the federal government is finally getting involved with the whole situation and everyone can go to www.annualcreditreport.com to get their free report per the new federal law. If this is something you are very concerned about you should sign up for one of the credit monitoring memberships that there are on the Internet. Ok, now I sound like a sales person... So, I'll shut up now. In case you are wondering... Yes, I work for Experian, or at least a company that is owned by them. So, after 3 years of working there I know just a little about credit. Not to mention my own bad report, tax liens suck!! lol eMail Me Check out my page Donate to the 2006 MS Walk Walk for cause -- Re: check your credit reports!!!!!!!!
